Merry after Christmas to everyone. Our holiday season went by very fast! Too fast i must say. We spend Christmas Eve with Dan's Family, so we headed up the night before after i got out of work. One of the scariest trips i have ever been on. It was snowing and blowing and icy! Instead of it taking us 2 1/2 hours to get there, it took us 4! and the way back home was not any better! 3 hours that trip took us. But to spend time with the Family and to have Hailey there with everyone was well worth it. We got some great video footage and a great time was had by all! Next year we will try and make the time up there a bit longer!
Christmas day we went to my folks house. First we went to my grandparents and spent time there. Then we went to my parents and opened presents and ate! It was so fun watching Hailey and seeing the excitement in her eyes when she got to see a new present of hers.
That night we went home and went straight to bed - we were tired! That next morning we had Hailey open our presents to her. It was so cute watching her hold on to the paper and try and open things. Can't wait to see how she will grow this next year and see how she handles Christmas in 2009!
Dan has had these past two weeks off and has been Mr. Mom watching Hailey. He has done such a great job! He is also in the process of painting our kitchen. It looks great babe!
We also got rid of my beetle and got a Dodge Caliber. I love it! More room, which is great!
We are excited for the new year and to see what God has in store for the Kittleson family. I am learing to rely on Him more and more for things and realizing that He is in control of things, not me. He is the one to trust in and to lean on for everything. Nothing is impossible for Him.
